I build software for law firms

Every piece of it below is running at a law firm right now. This page is here so you can look at what it actually produces, by yourself, and decide it is not for you without sitting through a call to find that out.

The examples are made up. Real ones belong to the firms they came from.

Most firms start here

The callers who had a real case and never heard back

Every call into the firm gets written out. Overnight, each one is checked against what actually got entered. In the morning you get one short email naming the people who described real work and were never followed up on.

You read it with your coffee. That is the whole thing. And you can go check every name in it yourself, which is the point.

Yesterday’s emailMade-up example
  • Denise Karras · 9:42am · 6 min

Rear-ended on the interstate, went to hospital the same day, asked what happens next. No file opened, no callback.

    front desk · never entered

  • Marcus Ellery · 1:15pm · 11 min

Served with divorce papers on Friday. Wanted to know if he had to respond this week. Told someone would call him back.

    front desk · never entered

  • Unknown caller · 4:58pm · 2 min

Asked whether you take drunk driving cases, then hung up before giving a name.

after hours · worth a call back

The rest of it

Seven other things, same idea

Each one is a real job somebody at your firm is doing by hand today.

Reading a case file

It opens every document in a file and writes you a memo: who is involved, what happened in date order, the issues, the deadlines. Every line carries the page it came from, so you can check any of it in seconds.

02 Apr Adjuster notes plaintiff “felt fine at the scene” [Claim file p.88]

02 Apr Physio notes constant pain since the crash [Med. recs. p.41]

Same day. They do not agree.

Body-cam footage

Hours of footage become a written record you can search. Click a line and the video jumps to that second. It runs on your own computer and the footage never leaves your office.

07:03 Officer 2: I can smell it from here.

21:30 Officer 1: I never said I smelled anything at the window.

New inquiries

A new inquiry gets read before anyone opens it. You get a paragraph on what the person actually wants, and one button to take it or pass.

Looks like: elder law, and it is urgent.

Mother in a nursing home three weeks. The home wants five months of bank statements by the end of next week.

Texting a lead back

Someone fills in your form at nine at night, then fills in two more before bed. This texts them back within seconds, in your firm’s own words, then tells you it did.

Sent 14 seconds after the form:

“Hi Denise, this is the office. We got your message about the accident. Someone will call you in the morning.”

Getting paid

Balances come straight off the case instead of being typed in. Reminders are written and waiting. Nothing reaches a client until a person at the firm approves it.

Hollan, P. 34 days out. Second reminder written, not sent.

Karras, D. paid, matched to the invoice, nothing to do.

The phone system

Not a bolt-on: the actual phones. Calls, texts, recordings and who said what, all filed to the matter, on the desktop and on staff phones instead of in somebody’s personal phone.

Tue 10:20 text out: “Confirming Thursday at 2. Bring the mortgage statement.”

Filed to Ellery, divorce.

Or the thing actually eating your week

Most firms have one specific problem that is on nobody’s list. So I listen to how a normal day runs, tell you which parts I can take off your plate, and build that. Off-the-shelf software makes you work its way. This goes the other direction.

The honest part

You get me, not an account manager. That also means I am not going to pretend a piece of this is further along than it is. Ask me whether something does a thing and I will tell you straight when it does not.

Nothing here asks you to switch case systems, sign anything, or commit to a month.

The easiest way to start costs you half an hour

It is called an AI Map. You tell me how your firm actually runs, day to day. I tell you where this can safely do the heavy lifting and, just as important, where it should never touch your practice.

You leave with a one-page map you keep, whether or not we ever work together. No client files needed. Nothing to install.
